Happy First Anniversary to Kobi-Leigh and Adrian!
It was a beautiful day for their wedding at The Ranch on the Mornington Peninsula. Kobi-Leigh and Adrian chose this venue as they wanted a relaxed informal wedding and also with The Ranch there is the option to extend the festivities as they have plenty accommodation! Another feature is that you are able to bring in your own catering and decorate the reception room however you like!
Kobi-Leigh’s mum was enlisted to help organise the wedding as Kobi-Leigh herself was expecting their gorgeous little girl, who was just old enough by the time the wedding came around to enjoy being centre of attention in a pretty new dress! Somehow, with baby in tow, Kobi-Leigh and her family were still able to make all the table decorations and place names!
The ceremony took place in the Chapel, which is great option for wet weather or just to keep out of the sun! The ceremony was performed by our lovely friend Robin Mayer and the most important job of all, ring security went to Kobi-Leigh’s nephew!
After the ceremony and family photos we took the bridal party to the wagons for their photos, followed by Kobi-Leigh and Adrian’s portraits. It turned out to be a fairly hot day but luckily we didn’t have to go far to get some great rustic and countryside backgrounds. The Ranch has so many amazing backdrops for photos!
Meanwhile guests enjoyed pre-dinner drinks before Kobi-Leigh and Adrian’s entrance and cutting of the cake. A beautiful cake with a special nod to their love of Star Wars with a couple of storm trooper motifs on the back of the cake!
A delicious bbq was served by the team from Moreish Catering and then after dinner, amusing and heartfelt speeches. Then we were into the fun part of the night. Paul the DJ had everyone laughing with the shoe game for the newly weds before they did their first dance to kick the dancing off. Everyone was certainly up on the dance floor whilst we did some wrap shots before we headed for home!
