Happy First Anniversary to Melissa and Joel whose wedding took place at Baxter Barn on a lovely spring day!
Melissa and Joel wanted a fun relaxed day and Baxter Barn was just perfect for them, with rustic buildings and set in acres of countryside on our beautiful Mornington Peninsula!
They chose to have their ceremony in front of the old cottage and having been showered in rose petals the bridal party headed off to the lake for photos after a few shots with the gorgeous vintage Dodge limousine. After the bridal party shots we spent some time with Melissa and Joel on their own and continued to wander beside the lake, which is the perfect backdrop.
Although it was a chilly evening guests were able to spend time out on the patio whilst being kept cosy with heaters until warming up on the dance floor! Music was provided by the awesome Selena and Brendan who provided a mixed set of live music and DJing. Melissa’s friends from health care certainly know how to rip it up on the dance floor and everyone was in good hands with so many nurses around! It was also lovely to catch up with Melissa’s sister Ash who had been a bridesmaid for one of our other couples!
All too soon it was time to say goodbye on what was a fantastic day!
