As we previously said, we are running way behind with blogging at the moment but we’ll try and catch up as best we can as we have so many gorgeous weddings to show you, starting off with Shanyn and Mitch!
It was the second day of Summer but Melbourne’s weather wasn’t playing ball and Shanyn and Mitch ended up with a very wet day but did it matter, no! They were both determined to thoroughly enjoy their day no matter what the weather threw at them and we think you can tell from the smiles on Shanyn’s face throughout the day that they kept that promise to themselves!
They chose Dalywaters Garden Chapel for their ceremony followed by the reception at Brooklands of Mornington. Thankfully Dalywaters chapel was not an issue for the weather and Anne and Daryl allowed us to use their beautiful conservatory for the photos. The whole bridal party was game for some outside photos so we grabbed some umbrellas and headed up to the gazebo.
Shanyn and Mitch were determined to also have a couple of photos with the sea in the background so we headed off down to the seafront just as the rain became even worse, still determined to get a couple of shots and the lovely Vince from LR Limousines held umbrellas over us all so we could get the photos!
After a quick drying out, Shanyn’s dress came up perfectly (so, brides, don’t be afraid to get a little wet!) and then they had a fantastic party afterwards with some enthusiastic dancing from their guests!
The celebrant was Jude Hilberts
